Had a good experience as far as my interactions with SUNY. Not a good experience at my residency site with very poor professionalism and a toxic work environment at times. Still, fell that I have learned alot and am a better clinician than had I not done the residency. --I still cannot get over Dr. McGovern berating my colleagues in front of everyone during speakers workshop. It was unnecessary and uncalled for --Saturday clinic is tough, it really took away from having a life outside of residency which I believe is mentally healthy and much needed. Many residents did not have to work saturdays or only had to do half. I think that's something that should be considered for every resident. We work really hard, so having some Saturdays off would have been nice.
