A Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), OR A Diplomate of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) in pediatrics, OR Comparable experience. Completion of or current enrollment in an ACOE-eligible Residency Program in Pediatric Optometry or Vision Therapy, OR A Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), OR Diplomate of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) in pediatrics, OR Comparable experience. Submit documentation of 5 continuing education credits in vision therapy, AND any ONE of the following: a. Associate or Fellow of COVD b. Diplomate of the American Academy of Optometry in Binocular Vision c. Completion of an ACOE eligible Residency program in: Vision Therapy Pediatrics with a vision therapy component Currently enrolled in a post graduate optometric rehabilitation program Currently enrolled in a pediatric program with a rehabilitative component. Same requirements for Advanced Evaluation and Management of Binocular and Accommodative Anomalies, and Eye Movement Anomalies AND Evidence that the applicant has evaluated and treated patients who have been diagnosed with Learning Disabilities or Attention Deficit Disorders. OR Proof of advanced training in Learning Disabilities or Attention Deficit Disorders.

Comprehensive Optometric Evaluation and Management of Children with Special Needs
Submit documentation of four hours of related continuing education credits, AND Satisfactory review by the Quality Assessment & Improvement Team. This will include the review of the medical records of not fewer than ten (10) Children with Special Needs patients examined, treated or consulted upon by the applicant within the University Eye Center. Ten (10) hours of continuing education courses in Vision therapy, AND A favorable review of two visual skills/strabismus/amblyopia and 2 vision therapy cases.
Vision Rehabilitation
Advanced Evaluation and Management of Binocular and Accommodative Anomalies, and Eye Movement Anomalies
Advanced Optometric
Five (5)hours of continuing education in Vision Therapy and 5 hours in Learning Disabilities or Attention Deficit Issues, AND A favorable review of two Visual Perceptual Evaluation and two vision and learning therapy cases.
