Clinical Vision Research Center (CVRC) The Clinical Vision Research Center’s (CVRC) mission is to provide a dynamic, patient based research environment where advanced treatments can be rapidly tested and applied to enhance patient care. The CVRC partners with industry, government and foundations to sponsor clinical research. The CVRC also provides training and mentorship for faculty, students and staff who are interested in conducting clinical research. Current research projects are posted on the clinical floors and additional information about the CVRC and its current studies can be found at http://www.sunyopt.edu/cvrc. To refer a patient to one of the studies, fill out a form located in the Human Subjects Research folder on the First Class desktop and email it to clinicresearch@sunyopt.edu or drop off a paper copy in the CVRC.
