Sour Cream Coffee Cake by Marianna Butera

DIRECTIONS

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients for Cake ½ cup margarine 2 eggs 1 cup granulated sugar 2 cups sifted flour dash of salt 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vanilla ½ pint sour cream Ingredients for Filling 1 tsp cinnamon ¼ cup granulated sugar ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)

1.Set oven to 325 F 2.Cream the margarine, eggs, sugar Blend in the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla 3. 4.Add the sour cream Put ¼ of the cake batter into a greased tube pan 5. 6.Add a third of the filling Add another layer of cake batter, then more filling 7. Repeat with another layer of cake batter, then more filling 8. End with the last quarter of cake batter 9. 10.Top with additional filling 11.Bake for 1 hour
