• Students are encouraged to inform parents/guardians/family members about their plans to travel abroad and provide them with emergency contact information. • Students are encouraged to obtain and maintain health insurance coverage for the duration abroad and research the policy to better understand any limits in coverage, as well as the process for securing reimbursements and any other requirements imposed by the insurance provider.

The Center for Teaching and Learning The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) serves as a dynamic hub where students, faculty, staff, and community members come together to cultivate a vibrant, active learning environment that fosters academic excellence and student success. Dedicated to enhancing student success and well-being, the CTL offers a wide range of faculty teaching development opportunities and student support services. The Center aspires to empower faculty in their teaching journey, advocating for evidence-based pedagogy and offering guidance on effective and innovative teaching strategies, course development, and technology integration to support learners. The CTL is committed to elevating curriculum delivery, nurturing innovation, promoting student engagement, and facilitating learning through a variety of resources, workshops, and diagnostic tools. The Office of Accessibility & Enrichment Services The Office of Accessibility & Enrichment Services in the Center for Teaching and Learning empowers students of all abilities to thrive academically and personally by providing inclusive support through ADA accommodations, individualized learning plans, tutoring, academic enrichment programs, and skill-building workshops. Our mission is to foster student success through accessible, enriching, and holistic educational experiences tailored to their unique needs. Learning Specialist Our Learning Specialist, Kemi Burgen, leads the Office of Accessibility and Enrichment Services and is available to meet with students to discuss strategies for achieving academic success. She assists students in developing and refining skills such as time management, study strategies, note-taking, test preparation, and maintaining a healthy school-life balance. In addition, she works collaboratively with students to create individualized learning plans tailored to their academic, personal, and professional goals.
