B. Transcripts: 1. Students canviewtheir termreports at theendof each termandwhenever agradechange ismade via the my.sunyopt.edu student portal. 2. Studentswithnooutstandingfinancialobligationareentitled,uponrequest,toonefreeofficial transcript after graduation. 3. Studentsmustpaythecurrenttranscriptfeeforeachtranscriptordered. 4. All requests for official transcriptsmust bemade inwriting on a Transcript Request Form, available in theOffice of StudentAffairsor the studentportal. Transcriptswill notbesent untilthefeeispaid. 5. Officialtranscriptswillbemailedfromtheregistrar.Underspecialcircumstances,anofficialtranscript willbegivento thestudent inasealedenvelopestampedby theOfficeof theRegistrar. C. Elementsofonetranscript 1. Theregistrarmaintains recordsof overallclass standingandgradepoint averagesandall calculations relatedtothe student’sacademicstanding. 2. CumulativeandtermGPA,qualitypoints, occasionsonprobationandother informationrelativeto the student’sacademicstandingarereportedonthecollegetranscript. The Retention of Records A. TheSUNYCollegeofOptometryadherestotheStateUniversityofNewYorksystemandtheAmerican Association of Collegiate Registrars and AdmissionsOfficers standards for the retentionof records.
