See independent auditors’ report. Changes in benefit terms: There were no significant legislative changes in benefits for the June 30, 2018 actuarial valuations. Changes in assumptions: The discount rate was updated from 3.86% in 2017 to 3.89% in 2018. The medical trend and excise tax assumptions were updated based on current anticipation of future costs and projected claim costs were updated based on the recent claims experience for the PPO plans and premium rates for the HMO plans.
