Statistical Sampling The samples were not intended to be and were not a statistically valid sample. Repeat Finding A similar finding for the Office was included in the prior year Single Audit Report as finding number 2017-017 at page 47. Questioned Costs None. Recommendation We recommend that the Department strengthen its existing policies and procedures and implement monitoring controls over IPE development to ensure that IPEs are developed within the 90-day requirement or ensure an extension to support the eligibility of participants is approved. Views of Responsible Officials Recommendations accepted. Policy and procedures will be updated, and the implementation of new procedures are in progress.
