At the fake website, transactions can be mimicked and information like login credentials can be gathered. With this the attacker can access the real site and conduct transactions using the credentials of a valid user on that website. – The link provided in the e-mail leads to a fake webpage which collects important information and submits it to the owner – The fake web page looks like the real thing
