Faculty Retreat Grants Faculty Retreat Grants are available to help faculty implement ideas inspired at the retreat that will specifically be used to improve courses, lectures, laboratories, seminars, or clinical instruction . These grants enable recipients to design and implement projects that will lead to enhanced instruction and improve education at the College. Projects most likely to be funded are those inspired at the faculty retreat and aligned with the criteria below. Faculty Retreat Grants are competitive. Applicants must have attended the faculty retreat. Applications must be approved by the primary supervisor and submitted to Academic Affairs by June 1 of the same year. Applications will be reviewed by the Office of Academic Affairs and individuals appointed by the Dean for Academic Affairs. The reviews will assess the potential that the project will improve the quality of the student learning experience and be successfully implemented. Recommendations will be made to the Dean for final approval. Successful applications may provide funds, FTE, or both. Recipients will provide a summary of the project at the following year’s retreat. Progress reports from past recipients will also be presented at the faculty retreat.
