Myopia Management Microcredential Curriculum Requirements

General Requirements

▪ Active participation in the Myopia Management Microcredential Journal Club

▪ Letter grade of at least B in all clinical curriculum

Second YearRequirements

▪ Letter grade of at least B in Contact Lens I

Third YearRequirements

▪ Letter grade of at least B in the Pediatric Optometry and Vision Development (POVD) and Contact Lenses II

▪ Successful completion of one of the following electives: ➢ ELC-585: Evidence-Based Myopia Management ➢ ELC-544: Advanced Topics: Pediatric Ocular Disease

▪ Successful completion of the following Clinic Assignments (asassigned): ➢ 4-week rotation through Myopia Management as non-pods ➢ OR 4-week observation for at least 1 specialty rotation in the Myopia Management, Contact Lens, or Pediatric clinics

Fourth YearRequirements

▪ Complete the Pediatric externship rotation with a focus on Myopia Management

▪ Successful completion of a Final Project.
