LGBTQ+: Overall perception of respect, fairness, concern for welfare and belonging were higher for those self-identified as LGTBQ+ than for those not self-identified as LGBTQ+ (M LGBTQ+= 3.3 vs. M Non-LGBTQ+ =2.9, F(1, 123)=4, p<.05).
Perception of higher administration’s and peers’ concern for welfare, respect, and fairness was not associated with gender, age, religion and position.
4. Work Satisfaction
Work Satisfaction measures 1) employees’ general attitude s towards work, 2) quality of relationship with supervisors, and 3) quality of relationship with Higher Administration. An Overall Work Satisfaction score was created by computing the average of all items on the work satisfaction portion of the climate survey. Individual items can be found on Table 16.
