New College Website Earns Digital Excellence Award The SUNY College of Optometry redesigned website earned the 2021 Digital Excellence Gold Award for creativity, innovation, and achievement in web design and digital media as selected by a jury of industry peers and leaders in the field. Launched in early 2021, the College’s new website is the result of collaborative efforts of faculty and staff and led by the website redesign team: Dawn Rigney, VP of Institutional Advancement; Robert Pellot, Chief Information Officer; Fiona Dhrimaj, Director of Educational Technology Services; Liana Rhee, Digital Content Specialist; and Jan Gonzalez, Web Developer. The team enlisted Long Island-based web design and digital marketing agency MaxBurst to help bring the vision for a new and improved College website to life. The University Eye Center site redesign is nearing completion with an eye toward optimizing the patient experience and accessibility to services. Look for the new UEC site in 2022.
