2020 Annual Report

Primary Care Is Ready to Renovate Plans for the 7th floor Primary Care construction project has received approval to move forward from the New York State Department of Health. The redesign aims to feature an efficient, modern design offering the latest technologies to provide state-of-the-art health care. The layout consists of a reception area with three check-in kiosks, three patient intake rooms, an entrance testing area, and a central sub-wait area opposite a modern and sophisticated optical retail space. Patient exam rooms will be organized in three groups (known as PODs), with a central faculty meeting room in the middle of each POD, facilitating interns' ability to stay in communication and access both their patients and their faculty supervisors. Also, one exam room in each POD will be for the use of other health care disciplines to facilitate the College's commitment to increasing interprofessional health care.
